VMWare’s Open Source Blockchain Project Focuses On Decentralized Trust Infrastructure

Distributed computing and virtualization firm VMware said Tuesday that it has built up an open-source blockchain project intended to be both scalable and energy efficient.

The Project named Concord, VMware’s blockchain aims to give a base to blockchain executions which can fathom certain scaling issues by altering the Byzantine Fault Tolerance consensus algorithm normally found in blockchain systems.
