Universities Programs Help Students To Have Career In Blockchain Technology

Ripple will work with the Institute for Fintech Research (THUIFR) at Tsinghua University for a Blockchain technology research scholarship program. The program will primarily focus on global regulatory policies and blockchain development as well. The main objective of the program is to provide students with a complete view of blockchain technology in order to make them do future research and have a career in this technology.

Ripple’s Senior Vice President (SVP) of global operations Eric van Miltenburg said, “The program’s goal – to provide students with opportunities in blockchain research – closely aligns with that of Ripple’s University Blockchain Research Initiative; we’re thrilled to support THUIFR in this endeavor and look forward to its launch.”

In June 2018, Ripple has announced that it was funding millions of dollars into a number of universities for research purpose related to blockchain and cryptocurrency. During that period, it collaborated with 17 universities which are located in different places like the U.S., Australia, Brazil, Canada, Europe, India, and South Korea.

Many government agencies supported blockchain research projects of the worldwide educational institutions. The U.S. Department of Energy funded around $4.8 million to those universities who are working on R&D projects which include Blockchain projects as well, according to a report by CoinDesk.

DMX University Provides Blockchain Training Scholarship Program

Dealer Market Exchange is a platform company who has launched the DMX University, and the main purpose for the formation of this university is to provide a Training Scholarship Program related to Blockchain technology. It will train 100 blockchain developers and give $150,000 scholarship funds in order to help the program. DMX University Program Director Omar González stated that the program will consist of 4 levels from novices to experts, and the main reason behind these levels is to have a bunch of talented candidates, Business Wire reported.

DMX University is planning to award 100 qualified candidates and provide them with certificates called “Hyperledger Blockchain Certified.” Hyperledger is a multi-project of open source Blockchain technology and related tools and the company’s main objective is to create efficient and decentralized transactional applications. The worldwide leaders in the fields of manufacturing, Internet of Things (IoT), banking, finance, supply chain, and technology along with tech giants like IBM, SAP, and Intel has supported the company.
