The upwards of 340 stocks, including PVR, Tata Steel, UPL, Vedanta and Videocon Industries hit 52-week lows on NSE on Thursday.
Aditya Birla Capital, Bharat Dynamics, BEML, Engineers India, Godfrey Phillips India, Greenply Industries, Indiabulls Real Estate, INOX Leisure, Jet Airways (India), Mangalam Cement, Manpasand Beverages, NMDC, PC Jeweler and PTC India, included among stocks that contacted 52-week lows on NSE.
The value benchmarks Nifty and Sensex shut lower on Thursday on losses in heavyweights including Kotak Mahindra Bank, Larsen and Toubro as financial specialists stayed anxious in the run-up to the no-confidence motion against the Modi government.
Sensex snuck past 22 centers, or 0.06 %, finishing at 36,351. The record saw 18 stocks progressing and keeping in mind that 13 declining. The Sensex jumped for the third continuous session on Tuesday to close at 34,903 by diving around 109 centers or 0.31 %, while the Nifty split below the 10,600 – stamp attributable to offer in many areas, drove by IT, capital products, telecom and bank.
The Nifty50 fell 23 centers or 0.21 %, settling at 10,957. Upwards of 21 stocks completed in the green in the record, however, 28 wound up in the red and one stayed unaltered. Among the sectoral lists on NSE, notwithstanding FMCG and PSU bank, all shut the day in the red.

In the Sensex kitty, 11 stocks settled in the green and 20 in the red, while in the Nifty50 list, 19 shut the day with picks up and 31 with misfortunes.
