Nifty Pharma Index Trades 0.14 Percent Up; Divi’s Laboratories, Biocon, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Jump Two Percent

The Nifty pharma index was exchanging 0.14 percent up at 9,603.95 around 12:00 pm on October 30, 2018, with its segments exchanging on a mixed note.

Shares of Divi’s Laboratories (up 2.43 percent), Biocon (up 2.28 percent), Cadila Healthcare (up 1.83 percent) and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories (up 1.56 percent), were exchanging with additions around then.

Lupin (up 2.60 percent), Cipla (up 2.20 percent), Cadila Healthcare (up 1.84 percent) and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals (up 1.03 percent) too were exchanging higher.

In Nifty pharma index, Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. key Products/Revenue Segments incorporate Active Pharma Ingredients which contributed Rs 3722.20 Crore to Sales Value (97.00 percent of Total Sales), Export Incentives which contributed Rs 65.18 Crore to Sales Value (1.69 percent of Total Sales), Contract Fees which contributed Rs 30.99 Crore to Sales Value (0.80 percent of Total Sales) and Scrap which contributed Rs 18.86 Crore to Sales Value (0.49 percent of Total Sales) for the year finishing 31-Mar-2018.

For the quarter finished 30-09-2018, the organization has announced a Standalone share of Rs 1285.00 Crore, up 29.11 percent from last quarter Sales of Rs 995.31 Crore and up 44.35 percent from a year ago same quarter Sales of Rs 890.20 Crore Company has revealed net benefit after the expense of Rs 397.65 Crore in the most recent quarter.

Biocon Ltd., consolidated in the year 1978, is a Large Cap organization (having a market top of Rs 38415.00 Crore) working in Pharmaceuticals and medicinal services division.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 list was down 3.05 at 10,247.8 while BSE Sensex was down 24.95 points at 34,042.45 around then.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty record, 34 were exchanging the green, while 16 were in the red.

In Nifty pharma index shares of YES Bank, Bank of Baroda, SBI, Motherson Sumi, Tata Motors, BEL, BHEL, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Ashok Leyland, and ITC, Idea Cellular and Ashok Leyland were among the most exchanged shares on the NSE, according to the report of Economic Times.
