A lab called “innovation lab” will be launched to develop and test new technologies related to blockchain technology.

NTT Communications (Thailand) is an information and communications technology (ICT) solution provider planning to launch the lab. The lab will be launched by the second quarter of 2019. Speeding up the digitization pace across the nation is a purpose of the lab launch.

The president of NTT Communications (Thailand) Manabu Kahara said, “Despite uncertainty surrounding the formation of a new government, technology investment will continue in line with the Thailand 4.0 objective and EEC megaprojects.”

New technologies related to artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) will also be developed and tested through the lab just like the blockchain technology.

Private clouds can be connected with public cloud services through connectivity and managed services of NTT. The public cloud services will be of the US and Chinese cloud service operators. Enterprise can use the connectivity and managed services for this connection.

NTT is also planning for the expansion of its own business in the month of July. This business expansion is planned to fulfill the needs and requirements of financial institutions, online games, online businesses, over-the-top service operators, and cloud service operators.

The information and communications technology (ICT) solution provider NTT Communications (Thailand) is a subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation. Its business has started in 2000. Worldwide enterprises are provided with cloud service, high speed & reliable connectivity, IT management service, high-quality Bangkok 1 & Bangkok 2 data center services, security services, voice, and conferencing solutions through the company, according to the official LinkedIn account of NTT Communications (Thailand).

The innovation lab can serve as blockchain technology solutions. It can’t just serve as the solutions but also can serve as preventive maintenance. The solutions can be used for financial and insurance sectors while the preventive maintenance can be used for smart factories, Bangkok Post reported.
