In Indian stock market, losses in shares of Coal India (down 2.31 percent), Tata Steel (down 1.91 percent) and Hindustan Zinc (down 0.99 percent) pulled the metal record down on September 25, 2018, session.
The Nifty Metal index was exchanging 0.60 percent down at 3,610 around 12:20 pm.
However, shares of Jindal Stainless (Hisar) (up 3.29 percent), Steel Authority of India (SAIL) (up 2.47 percent), MOIL (up 2.23 percent) and JSW Steel (up 2.14 percent) were picking up in the index around that time.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 file was 3 points down at 10,341, while the BSE Sensex was 64 points up at 33,212. Shares of Hindustan Copper (down 0.80 percent), Hindalco Industries (down 0.25 percent) and MOIL (down 0.23 percent) additionally endured losses.
However, in Indian stock market, Nalco (up 2.30 percent), Steel Authority of India (SAIL) (up 1.77 percent) and Jindal Stainless (Hisar) (up 1.73 percent) timed nice additions. NMDC (up 0.53 percent), APL Apollo Tubes (up 0.29 percent), Jindal Steel and Power (up 0.16 percent), JSW Steel (up 0.11 percent) and Vedanta (up 0.09 percent) too were in the green zone around then.
According to the report of Economic Times, almost 90 stocks, including GAIL (India), Jindal Steel and Power, Maruti Suzuki India, United Spirits, Nalco, NTPC and Steel Authority of India hit a new 52-week high September 26, 2018.
Axis Bank, YES Bank, Sun Pharma, IndusInd Bank, and Infosys were among the best gainers in the Nifty file. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 record was up 26 points at 10,993, while the BSE Sensex was up 108 points at 36,413. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty list, 28 were exchanging the green, while 22 were in the red.
Shares of Adani Ports SEZ, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Finance, Tata Motors, Cipla and ITC were among the best gainers in the Nifty50 index.
