Indiabulls Mutual Fund has appointed Mr. Raghav Iyengar as Whole Time Director and CEO on the Board of Indiabulls Asset Management Company Limited, with effect from August 06, 2018.
Mr. Akshay Gupta, the former Whole Time Director and CEO of Indiabulls Asset Management Company Limited, has resigned with effect from August 04, 2018.
Mr. Raghav has extensive work experience across the banking, financial service, and mutual fund industry. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in Cost Accountancy,
Before joining the Indiabulls Mutual Fund, Mr. Iyengar served as the Executive Vice- President and Head of Institutional and Retail Business at ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund. He led the retail and institutional sales business in the ICICI Prudential MF.
He previously worked as the Head of Institutional Sales at the company. He joined the firm in December 2006.
He was in charge of driving the business objectives via channel sales, retail sales and distribution, and corporate investors. He was responsible for identifying potential areas of expansion and helping in the business growth.
He is widely accredited for playing a key role in establishing the distribution relationships and assisting asset growth at ICICI Prudential.
He also worked as a Director at ICICI Securities Holdings Inc. from December 2010 to January 2013. He founded RonakBM, Inc. in 2014. He serves as the President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of RonakBM, according to The Economic Times, Bloomberg and CAFE MUTUAL.
Indiabulls MF, a SEBI registered AMC in India, has Indiabulls Housing Finance Limited as its Sponsor and Indiabulls Trustee Company Ltd as its Trustee.
