IDRBT Of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) To Create Model Blockchain Platform

The Institute for Development & Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) is a banking technology-focused institution who creates a model blockchain platform. IDRBT is also an arm of an Indian central banking institution called the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

The Director at IDRBT AS Ramasastri said“We have been working on a model platform for blockchain applications for the government in banking. It will be documented and developed next year. While there is huge scope for deployment of blockchain applications, a cautious approach is very much needed.”
