Blockchain Program Becomes Gateway To Blockchain Technology Ecosystem

The blockchain technology training program established for young women of color from the age of 7 to 17. The main aim of the program is to become an entry gate for those students who are willing to enter the world of the blockchain. The program will include a blockchain curriculum which is comprised of three lessons such as cryptocurrency, problem-solving for user experience and the most important things about blockchain.

The program is not only about the theoretical curriculum, but it will also make students participate in some of the world’s top blockchain developer conferences from Device Console (DevCon) to Ethereal in order to bring their ideas into practice. The students will learn how to make their own smart contracts and cryptocurrencies.

ConsenSys is a blockchain company located in Brooklyn, New York. The company has partnered with Black Girls Code to establish the program. Black Girls Code is a non-profit organization which provides education related to technology for African-American girls.

The program has already introduced blockchain technology basics to around 60 young women of color. Both partners are now planning to increase the number of students for 2019. The partners are already collaborating with other partners like the Human Rights Foundation, the Ethereum Community Fund, and the Ethereum Foundation in order to boost the growth of the program. Besides, Black Girls Code aims to become the “Girl Scouts” in terms of technology. Therefore, the organization will train one million young women of color by 2040, according to a report by Forbes.

Blockchain Learning Group Aims To Systemize Themselves Globally

Blockchain Learning Group is one of the blockchain programs whose aim is to systemize themselves around the globe. The program gives blockchain training to engineers and top executives so that they can start building their own apps on different blockchains. It also works with schools in order to create future leaders in the blockchain space. It has already worked with several high schools who educate girls, as mentioned on Forbes.

“Through the immersive hands-on experience Blockchain Learning Group provided me, I am now able to confidently construct my very own decentralized applications and program Solidity smart contracts with confidence. The workshops were extremely useful and only made me more excited about Blockchain technology and its potential,” says one of the excited students who was a part of the program.
