The world’s biggest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, has vowed $1 million for the victims of the floods in Japan. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao has also commended the crypto community to contribute to the cause. At least 64 people have been killed and 44 others have been missing in flooding and victories affected by heavy rain in western and central Japan.
Japan floods and landslides have done several damages in the western part of the country. More than 60 people have been reported dead, and more than 50 people are still missing.
On the other hand, 1.5 million people have been well-ordered by the Japanese authority to empty their homes. As per the authorities, this could be the worst weather tragedy in the last two decades.
Due to this incident, Zhao has decided to donate to aid the victim. Moreover, he also said that he might take into considerations the donations which will be coming from Binance forthcoming listing requests towards the listing fees.
