According to Mahesh Patil, Co-CIO of Aditya Birla Sun Life MF, large-cap schemes will continue to capture investors’ attention and will perform well in future as long as the problems in the overall MF industry persists.
Even though midcap schemes did well in CY17, large-cap MF schemes started performing well from December 2017. Earlier, midcap schemes and large-cap schemes have done well alternately during different periods.
Large-cap schemes are doing well and getting listed at the top of the charts with 17 percent average returns in the last one year. Many large-cap MF schemes witnessed underperformance with respect to their benchmark. Aditya Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity Fund is one such large-cap MF scheme.
However, many large-cap mutual fund schemes like Aditya Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity Fund have constantly outperformed their benchmark over the past three to five years, said Patil, according to The Economic Times.
Aditya Birla Mutual Fund announced the dividend under the three schemes on August 25, 2018, according to KJMC.[The views and opinions expressed in this article are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views and/or the official policy of the website. ]
